What is Flash Lite?

Simply, Flash Lite is the Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Flash player created specifically for mobile phones. The current version is 1.1, which has introduced improvements over the 1.0 version in areas such as online connectivity, dynamic data loading(DDL) and interaction with the functionality of the mobile handset. Version 2.0 is currently in development and will provide an even greater platform for creating rich mobile experiences.

We believe that the Flash Lite player technology offers developers and content owners a superior platform for the delivery of content on the mobile platform to that of other technologies. The main advantages of Flash Lite to developers, and therefore their customers, are:
